Credit disclosures

Last updated 1 October 2026

Draft for legal review before launch.

Pay Small Small is a credit arrangement between you and a licensed lending partner. Betapawa introduces you to the lender and sells you the system; we do not lend money.

Lending partners

  • SunFund Credit (test): FCCPC licence FCCPC/DL/TEST/0001; APR from 42%; tenors 3, 6, 12, 18, 24 months
  • Greenleaf Microfinance (test): FCCPC licence FCCPC/DL/TEST/0002; APR from 37.2%; tenors 6, 12, 18 months

APR and total cost

Before you submit an application, you'll see the down payment, monthly payment, APR, cost of credit and total amount payable. APR here is the nominal annual rate (monthly rate × 12) on a reducing balance.

Representative example

System price ₦1,000,000; down payment 30% (₦300,000); ₦700,000 financed over 12 months at 3.5% per month (42% APR) gives 12 monthly payments of ₦72,439. Total payable ₦1,169,265.

Credit checks

Lenders run a credit-bureau check when you submit. Getting a quote doesn't affect your credit record.

Missed payments

We remind you 3 days before, on the due date and 2 days after. Late fees are set by the lender and shown in your agreement. Where disclosed in your signed agreement, the lender may remotely disable a supported inverter after a confirmed default; it is re-enabled within 1 hour of payment.

Complaints

Contact the lender first, then Betapawa. You can also complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
