Solar calculator
Tell us what you want to run. We'll size the inverter, battery and panels, then show the installed packages that fit, with cash and monthly prices.

Estimates use Crestgreen's design constants (80% diversity above 5 loads, 3× motor surge, 90% depth of discharge). An engineer confirms every design before install.
How it works
Read the full method in What size inverter do I need? and How many solar panels do I need?
How accurate is the solar calculator?
It uses the same formulas and constants Crestgreen engineers use for design, so it is usually within 5% of a site survey. An engineer confirms every design before install.
Why does my fridge count as 40% of the day?
A fridge compressor cycles on and off. Over a day it runs roughly 40% of the time, so it uses about 40% of its rated watts × 24 hours.
Why is the inverter bigger than my total watts?
We add 25% headroom for Nigerian heat and convert watts to kVA at a power factor of 0.8. Motors like pumps and ACs also need surge capacity when they start.
